Apple just announced its latest MacBook. It’s tiny. It makes the Macbook Air look like a Dell Inspiron circa 2002. But hopefully you’re not one of those jerks that actually uses the ports on the side of your computer. This MacBook only has a single USB-C and it does everything from charging, to sending video out and transporting data. It’s the only port on the computer meaning owners cannot charge the computer and an iPhone at the same time. It’s not possible to output video to a monitor and input data from an external drive — at least not without a hub. This single port was likely the byproduct of Apple’s quest to make the thinnest MacBook possible. Ports take a lot of room. The device in question sports the same faux leather casing as the Galaxy S5 and Samsung has a product launch on the books in the coming days. Chances are good this is the real deal. The leaked specs state that this device has a 10x optical zoom paired with a 20MP sensor. A six-core Samsung Exynos 5 Hexa SoC with 2 GB of RAM powers the device. There’s a 4.8-inch Super AMOLED HD display on the backside along with a 2MP front-facing camera. This time around, the device looks decidedly more like a smartphone than a camera. It’s slimmer and looks to be much more pocketable, all while retaining the 10x optical zoom found on the previous model. The pricing and release date were not included in the leak.
